Preeti and Ravi’s Outdoor South Asian Wedding at the TPC Potomac

Preeti, being the little sister and last of the Mehrotra daughters to officially marry, did so with a rustic celebration on the lawn at the club followed by an indoor mid-day lunch/early dinner with their closest family and friends present to witness alongside Ravi’s Mom joining in virtually to enjoy the union.

It’s hard not to get a little choked up when youve watched literally the entire family grow and expand, you do feel part of it all. And even more, as photographers, we have a little advantage because no one present views us as just the photographers but knows us and refers to us lovingly as the Regeti’s, just Amy and Srinu doing what we do.

Watching Ravi and Preeti together and listening to their vows, you realize that sometimes love comes at the most unexpected time in the most unique of ways, that their personalities complete each other, and that life without each other was never even a thing.

Many ask us, as a couple who have been together for 26 years, what we feel is the secret, and my response is other people’s love. We’ve been feeding off it forever; it feels like the start of our business in 2005; when you believe in something so purely, it’s with each event that we have an almost weekly reminder that LOVE has everything to do with it.

That said, we wish Preeti and Ravi, the greatest forevers of history, will ever write. Cheers to the rest of all your good years!
