Ujwal while she took a little time to make her final decision in booking us as her wedding photographers, I think early on she and Michael realized that we were the right fit after all we are their mirror image 🙂 all joking aside these two finally got the chance to meet us for the first time leading up to the week of their South Indian Hindu Wedding over a delicious meal at Coastal Flatts which is like a close tie to Peri Nandos in terms of places we love to eat. It was great to sit and talk and share all the things we have in common, similar experiences that Michael and I shared that only we could really relate to and understand, the night ended way too soon, but only after forcing a Lobster Roll on Michael and the two of them to share a tasty dessert – after all it was the week to celebrate if any was it not?!

Ujwal and Michael had their Hindu Wedding rituals in the morning at Westfields Marriott Dulles Washington in Chantilly, Virginia followed by their reception. Seeing Ujwal get emotional during their first look reminded me of how many amazing and wonderful things that are yet to come for them making me that much more excited to document the here and now. Ujwal’s Dad had similarities to that of my father-in-law while Michael’s parents reminded me a little of my own. The highlight of the evening was most certainly their friends performance as I do believe this was an absolute shocker to both of them as their friends killed it out there, I myself was simply stunned by their vivaciousness as most if not all were not of Indian origin, you could truly tell that they all put in the work!
