What is not to love when shooting a Hindu Wedding at a venue (Westfields Marriott) that is almost in your backyard, well close enough anyway! Westfield’s Marriott as many knows is the heart of many Hindu celebrations, many come to us and ask why? And I tell them there is peace of mind that comes when having your event at a venue that handles such chaos with glam and grace weekend after weekend. The staff and team of preferred vendors at the Marriott are able to do this dance with one another that everything just flows like a finely oiled machine. The greatest asset we feel as photographers that this venue lends is that rain or shine there are always great shots to be had inside and out! Ceremonies whether outside or in the ballroom have their own flare and regardless of what your theme is it can be pulled off anywhere inside or out of this venue.

It is not often that we do many South Indian weddings, as we find ourselves shooting a bit of North Indian weddings, I think this is a lot of times the case of North Indians tend to plan a bit farther in advance. But when the opportunity presents itself I think that my favorite part of it all is the rice and confetti pouring and the games always played at the end – needless to say I am also married to a South Indian myself so I feel a bit nostalgic from it all. Plus it always seems to be a great way to lighten the mood after a long in-depth serious and intense South Indian ceremony (most last 3-4 hours, if the guests are lucky!). There is this beauty in those images as the smiles and the laughter that are candidly captured often enough become the signature of all our client’s favorites. Anita and Pulkit’s day seemed to go so quickly that I felt it was over shortly after it started as there was not a moment to spare and time was utilized to the max. Surrounded by their closest family and friends Anita and Pulkit were still dancing the night away as we departed, most often the case when clients prefer to simply dance the night away!
