Engagement Portraits | Lincoln Memorial | Washington DC Wedding Photographers

Saturday given the rain was non-stop throughout the entire day we chose to meet up with our clients at the Lincoln and go from there! We were extremely excited to meet with Ariana and Kunal for the first time and regardless we were thrilled with the end results.

It’s not too often that we are even willing to proceed in the rain when shooting engagement sessions because it hinders our ability to shoot; we cannot openly shoot in the rain without extreme restrictions regarding clients hair/attire, gear, and posing. However, there are situations that due to conflicts in schedules and limited time that some of our clients have to complete their session due to where they live or are traveling from that we have to make an exceptions or two. Therefore, it is once or twice a year that we have to shoot in these situations so that we can meet our clients and have this most valuable time with them.

Make-up and Hair: By the ever so talented Sonia Iqbal

Raksha Sutra... for those of you who did not know what the threads are that the priest ties to the couple and the family members. They are sacred threads blessed by the priest for the wearer. It is one of our kid's favorite parts when going to the temple or having family functions. 🧶
I love how Himica before doing anything else looks around to acknowledge who all was present in the crowd. It was a sweet and kind gesture I felt as you could feel how important it was to her we were all there! 🥰
There was a moment I thought he might not make it through that gate! However his uncles came through for him here 🤑
