It’s ironic that just as we prepare to ship out her cousin’s beautiful wedding album it’s already time for Launika’s engagement session. And with her wedding just around the corner, we cannot wait to see Priya and Rajiv again soon! We could not have asked for more beautiful weather as we spent the entire day in the city soaking up the rays – and yes, unfortunately, I am still as fair as I was when I started, European skin is so cruel.
During our initial consults with our clients we often go into brief details of the engagement session and how it’s include, but when I think about it I don’t think we go over it enough as we still have a handful of clients that we just don’t ever get the chance to spend the time with as they are planning from afar and time is a rarity for most. However, with those that we do get this rare time with we learn so much about them throughout the short span of time that we get to spend with them, it’s amazing that we even accomplish getting some great shots with as much chatter that goes on at times. I think the best part of doing what we do is the fact that we are a couple working with other couples who are just as deeply in love as ourselves and being able to listen to them and give them our take on certain things as we’ve been there before gives us the opportunity to bond even more. Since no two couples are truly ever the same we all tend to learn a thing or two throughout the process of it all and walk away feeling extremely excited about what’s to come. Launika and Prashant were no different and pushing into her last two-month stretch we have all begun to count down the days…. 60 more to go!
