It’s not all the time we have the opportunity to photograph a wedding just 15 minutes away, as luck would have it Melissa and Michael were a luck of the draw!
With some last minute change in plans the wedding was moved from a private residence affair to the beautiful Morais Vineyard here in beautiful Fauquier County. Melissa opted to get ready at the quaint Poplar Inn & Day Spa which meant that the day was already off to an amazing and relaxing start.
Michael and the guys were dressed in nice khaki suits, very destination like and casually strutted on down the aisle to await Melissa’s long anticipated walk. Moving into cocktails and with the start of the reception Melissa and Michael may have had one of the best bands that we have heard all year, unfortunately they are not local, but came from out of state specifically to play just for the couple. But, let’s just say I personally wanted to stay just to listen to the band play!
