7 of 25: Amit and Shikha @ The Fairmont, Washington DC

Although we photographed everything but the ceremony for Amit and Shikha we had a fabulous time with them at the Cherry Blossoms during their engagement session with us! We literally laughed the whole way through as Amit is such the joker.

Their days leading up to the day of their wedding were full of celebrations ending in a beautifully decorated reception for family and friends at the beautiful Fairmont Hotel in Washington DC. The room was just stunning when you walked in that it was a jaw dropper!

Shikha and Amit we hope that you two are enjoying the more relaxed way of life now that all the planning and execution is through with your wedding. Do stay in touch as we hope the blossoms will always mean something special to you both!

There’s something special about engagement celebrations that are kept intimate — they breathe differently.

Bhavya & Jayant’s South Asian Indian engagement celebration at Stone Tower Winery in Leesburg, Virginia was filled with easy laughter, meaningful conversations, and the kind of togetherness that reminds you what these moments are really about.

Stone Tower is such a beautiful fit for smaller, lighthearted gatherings — open spaces, vineyard views, and a natural elegance that doesn’t need overproduction to shine. It’s a place where families can relax, reconnect, and truly enjoy being together.
