Some wedding days are beautiful.
Some wedding days are emotional.
And then there are wedding days like Sahana and Reed’s — beautiful, emotional, and absolutely unforgettable in the most hilarious, heartwarming ways.
Their Christian ceremony at Outlook at Saddleridge was the second chapter in a full, joy-filled day that included their Hindu ceremony and evening reception. Yet somehow, it never felt rushed. It felt like we were celebrating with longtime friends — because we were. The relationship built with them through their engagement session and the countless conversations leading up to this day made everything feel familiar, meaningful, and genuinely special. Like this beautiful share early on from Reed that his grandfather made for them, it simply showed me how important his Granddad is to him – let alone his entire family.

The Comedy + Chaos Nobody Saw Coming
Let’s talk about the weather.
Because the weather absolutely had plans.
Just as everyone settled in for the ceremony… it started to pour.
Not sprinkle — pour.

Reset #1. Everyone hustled inside.
Reset #2. Saddleridge staff wiped every chair dry, guests moved back out… and the rain said “not today.”
Reset #3. The whole process repeated again, and by this point, people were laughing, shrugging, and embracing the absurdity of it all.

And here’s the truth: it didn’t ruin a thing.
If anything, it made the ceremony even more bonded, memorable, and beautifully human.
Shoutout to the Real MVPs
The Saddleridge staff truly worked like heroes — wiping chairs, drying everything down, guiding guests, and keeping spirits high.
And then there was their phenomenal planner:
Ashna Ahluwalia with Planned Celebrations

Ashna and her team navigated every curveball with absolute grace and calm. They orchestrated all three resets seamlessly, keeping the couple calm, the guests reassured, and the day flowing. It was vendor teamwork at its finest — and we were proud to be part of it.
And Then… the First Kiss Incident
As if the weather excitement wasn’t enough, the ceremony finale gave us one last gasp-worthy moment.
Everyone — including their long-time friend and pastor officiating — knew he needed to step aside before the first kiss.
He was ready.
He was prepared.
He was waiting for his cue.
But in a split-second misunderstanding, one of Sahana’s bridesmaids came in from the side, reached for him, and nearly yanked the poor man off-balance — causing him to stumble in front of everyone just as the kiss was about to happen.

Gasps.
Laughter.
Hands over mouths.
One of those “did that really just happen?” moments no one will ever forget.
We’re all still laughing about it.
It was chaotic, unplanned, completely unexpected… and somehow, absolutely perfect.

A Ceremony Rooted in Grace and Joy
After all the resets, the laughter, and the near-fall fiasco, what remained was the heart of the day:
A ceremony filled with intention, devotion, and the merging of two beautifully compatible souls.
Sahana stepped into her Christian ceremony look with elegance, warmth, and that sweet calm she naturally carries. Reed — now in his suit — looked every bit the groom ready to marry the love of his life again in the same day.
Every vow felt deeper.
Every smile wider.
Every moment richer because of everything it took to get there.

The Regeti Difference — Why Days Like This Matter
This day — in all its humor, heart, chaos, and culture — is why we love what we do.
Because we don’t just show up to photograph.
We show up to see everyone.
The parents.
The grandparents.
The siblings.
The friends who flew across oceans.
And the couple who trusts us enough to let us into moments exactly like these — messy, beautiful, honest moments that become part of their story forever.

Stay Tuned… the Reception Deserves Its Own Spotlight
There’s even more magic from this day coming next.
The reception?
You’re not ready.
