Best clients tend to be the referred ones that have common friends that we have photographed. Still, every once in a while, you get an amazing, trusted family member who does their research and sends the groom’s parents along to you, only to find out the bride grew up right in your backyard, pretty much neighbors – those awesome personalities and priorities align. A contract is in your inbox signed! Just reminds you that what you do isn’t something everyone in your industry is capable of because you sit back and listen to all the needs and wants, and come the wedding day, it all just comes together as visionaries; it’s something that throughout the years we have learned to do during the client file creation, the calls we get on and of course each clients engagement session. It is important to remember that none of our clients are the same, none with the same two stories or the same two families, so to think that you can just recreate the same work is crazy. It’s something we do not try to do; every part of your day is about you being you, us being us, and bringing it all out of you. For Jordan, Praneeth, and their families, I felt we nailed it – hook, line, and sinker as this day was not long, but it started early and ended late, for 22 hours if I remember correctly. It consisted of two back-to-back (Traditional Telugu weddings, followed by their American ceremony) ceremonies and a beautiful reception.
Jordan and Praneeth work in the ER, so I am sure this day was not even close to the pressure, chaos, and rush they feel in their careers, and we were thrilled to be part of it all. Thank you to everyone, parents, our couple, and all the “friendors” who made this long day feel like the ultimate P-A-R-T-Y!
