Good morning, Boar’s Head Resort! I’d be lying if I didn’t admit to stalking just about every Bollywood celebrity wedding image that is shared – Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, and shamingly, the Ambani’s 🙂 I often think to myself if money is not an issue why weren’t certain simple changes/tweaks made, and I realize that perhaps the photographers covering those weddings feel at a disadvantage when working for a celebrity and possibly just don’t speak up offering their professional advice on matters of lighting and set up. It seems obvious if you are selecting a photographer it is because of their skill, why wouldn’t you invoke their voice into that part of your planning?
We have had the honor and privilege to photograph many amazing clients from the United States Presidents, Supreme Court Justices, NFL players, Real Housewives of Potomac, ANTM’s reality series, and those who work at our local bank – all of them receive the same recommendations and professional opinion when planning their weddings, and Anjali and Manish were no different. It is evident in how much their vendors worked together to make this amazing and stunning wedding happen, but most importantly, it was how well they received all the advice and inspiration they had to take in to get there. Ani Sandhu and his team over at Ace of Events left nothing to chance when handling all the planning and logistics of this breathtaking event. We couldn’t be more thankful to them, given all they do for not just the clients they serve but the vendors/professionals they work alongside – we are truly a team during these events. It often feels that we are all so in sync that the day unfolds like a well-practice performance on Dancing with the Stars. Unfortunately this is an art amongst us all that only we get to see, these relationships and friendships longstanding are both respected and cherished.
Most importantly, when you have an amazing, supportive, creative, classy-elegant Momma, two POSH sisters, and let’s not forget to mention a Dad who has completely made all 4 of the women in his life his world dreaming of this day, it’s a safe assumption that these events would be nothing short of perfection from the inside out. Plus — let’s just say it never hurts to have a little Tarun Tahiliani’s (TT) assistance on the dance floor!
We all know that no wedding would be complete without the groom’s support/opinion and view; Manish, throughout the process, became equally involved, by the days of the wedding week’s execution, an entire team was in this to win it, welcoming all their nearest and dearest friends to party into the late hours of the night with them as they escaped together out the doors of the Boar’s Head Resort through a parade of sparklers into their happily ever after.
