Beautiful to its core is what you see when you spend time with Stephanie and Plamen. You can tell that they’ve been together for what already feels like forever just by how at ease they are with one another and the way Plamen knows how she must be feeling even when he is not with her. It’s a love most strive to achieve when setting out on their own quest for love.
I always tell our clients that it’s all about the relationship that you have with your photographer more than their skill set. I genuinely feel that it’s the life experience that has, along with their technical knowledge and understanding of their equipment. This comes from a lot of practice, trial, and error, as well as being in tune with a photographer and the world around you.
Just as with couples, the life experiences they share, the highs and the lows, are what cause them to grow together, and with these two, it is ever so apparent. During their engagement session and throughout our time together on their wedding day, we could not get enough of these two because each time, we felt like we were meeting up with old friends, the way photographing your clients should feel. This is how you know, as a photographer, it’s the perfect match.
Stephanie and Plamen’s wedding was a joyous celebration from start to finish. Their enchanting ceremony took place in the magical Saint Matthews Cathedral, followed by a lively reception high above the city in Washington, D.C., at the International Spy Museum. The atmosphere was filled with happiness and excitement, a true celebration of love.
Stephanie and Plamen, as you begin this new chapter in your lives, we can’t help but feel a sense of hope for the future you’ll build together. We’ve cherished the time and stories we’ve shared and eagerly look forward to witnessing your journey and growth. Here’s to a future filled with love, joy, endless possibilities, hope, and optimism!

There’s what you see on wedding day. And then there’s everything that makes us the photographers we are.
This channel is where we share the in-between — the building, the learning, the late nights, the marriage that has carried us through nearly two decades of photographing other people’s love stories.
We’re still very much in weddings. Still shooting. Still telling stories. Still showing up for our couples. But here, you’ll also see how we live, work, problem-solve, and grow together behind the camera — because who we are off a wedding day shapes how we show up on one.
If you’re planning a wedding, work in the wedding industry, or simply love honest conversations about partnership, creativity, and building a life together — you’ll fit right in.

Christmas in America is culture as much as it is tradition 🤍
It’s family, food, memories, and the people we carry with us — both near and far.
Today’s South Asian Wedded Life episode holds space for engagement, family dynamics, Indo-American life, and the emotions that surface when love and legacy meet.
Sending love to everyone navigating the season in their own way.
YouTube @amyregeti is where the entire heartfelt episode is ... head on over! 🎄 Merry Christmas, SAWL family.
There’s something special about engagement celebrations that are kept intimate — they breathe differently.
Bhavya & Jayant’s South Asian Indian engagement celebration at Stone Tower Winery in Leesburg, Virginia was filled with easy laughter, meaningful conversations, and the kind of togetherness that reminds you what these moments are really about.
Stone Tower is such a beautiful fit for smaller, lighthearted gatherings — open spaces, vineyard views, and a natural elegance that doesn’t need overproduction to shine. It’s a place where families can relax, reconnect, and truly enjoy being together.
It was also a pleasure working closely with Bhavya’s mom during the booking process. Her confidence and decisiveness — right from the referral — spoke volumes.
In so many Indian and Indian-American families, parents thoughtfully vet vendors while couples juggle school, residencies, fellowships, and demanding careers. When trust is there, everything flows exactly as it should.
Authenticity always wins.
The laughter, the smiles, the memories — and the promise of what’s still to come. 🤍
Coming off a wedding weekend always leaves me thoughtful 🤍
Somewhere between unloading camera bags, folding laundry, and realizing Christmas is next week, I found myself replaying a quiet thought I know I’m not alone in…
We shouldn’t have to explain neglect to our kids or visiting family in a place meant to teach reverence.
I finally sat down and talked about it — honestly, gently, and without judgment — in a new episode of SAWL - Spilling the Chai with Amy ☕️
If you’ve ever left a place of worship feeling spiritually full but physically unsettled… this conversation might be for you.
