T-H-I-R-T-E-E-N

Yep that’s right, we blinked and she was 10, blinked again and she was 13!
It’s hard to think that in 5 years she will be considered an adult. I can’t help but feel that it’s such a short period of time to equip her with everything she needs to survive in this ever changing world, to make decisions that a responsible contributing adult to society should and has to make. 

The scariest thing as a parent is learning to let go and allow them to fly solo. To know that they are going to make mistakes, mistakes that are vital to helping them learn and grow. 

So instead I’m going to hold her tight, I’m going to love her fiercely and always kiss her goodnight and when it’s time to let go I’ll know and have to have faith that I raised her right.
