Every other year we are honored to photograph the Jakum Family. We’ve watched these children go from little toddlers to young adults. Spending time with them anyone who knows Dr. Jakum can see just how he shines through each one of them and their personalities. This year we met them out at the Sky Meadows State Park for their family portrait session and the weather could not have cooperated any more than it did. The cutest part of the entire session was as we were wrapping up there was this little boy with his parents and he came up to Dr. Jakum and after seeing his plate tag asked; “Are you a real doctor?” It was just so innocent and sweet the way he asked that it made your heart just melt as Dr. Jakum replied to him in the gentle kind fashion that only the pediatrician in him could allow.
