That look on his face — half amused, half "do I have to do this again?" — while someone (probably an uncle or family friend) rubs turmeric into his hair mid-haldi. This is exactly the kind of moment I mean when I say kids learn what they live.

Every family does haldi a little differently — who sits where, who applies it first, how long the teasing lasts before someone finally wipes their face. Even families from the same town, same language, same background — it's never identical. That's what I love photographing. This little guy is absorbing all of it, and someday he'll be the one holding the turmeric for someone else.

Want photos that catch these in-between moments, not just the posed ones? Send us a DM — we'd love to hear about your day.
This is the hug that gets me every single time. The bride in her flower jewelry, glowing from a morning of ceremony, wrapped around the woman who probably held her as a baby. Grandmothers show up different at weddings — there's a softness, a pride, a whole history in the way they look at their grandchild in that moment.

We photograph a lot of weddings, but it's these in-between hugs that we chase hardest. Years from now, this is the photo that gets pulled out and passed around. Tag someone who needs to see their grandmother's/nannamma's face like this, or drop a 💛 if this reminds you of your own.
Okay, I have to be honest with y'all — I am NOT a pani puri girl. 😅 My brother-in-law hyped these up so much in Hyderabad that he drove me over an hour through absolutely brutal traffic to hit up one of the best spots for it, and when that crunch/cold tamarind water/cilantro combo hit me all at once... I just wasn't ready. Coming from the girl who makes her own idlis and dosa batter from scratch with a stone grinder, you'd think I'd be all in on this one. Maybe I just need round two with lower expectations!

We photograph SO much incredible food at Indian weddings and I love learning the stories behind every dish, every family favorite, every 'you HAVE to try this' moment. Tell me — am I wrong about pani puri, or does everyone feel this way the first time? 👇 And if you're planning a wedding full of food, family and moments like this, DM us — we'd love to talk.

Okay but when the bride's parents look this good together, they deserve their own feature on our page! All jokes aside, Aish's mom, Geeta, was truly the hero of this day. That smile says it all.

Parents don't get nearly enough camera time at weddings, and we're always looking for these moments. Tell us in the comments: who was the real MVP at your wedding?

Whoever said diamonds are a girl's best friend clearly never met this Manisha's pooch!

Right before we headed out for portraits, she got down in her lehenga, veil and all, just to say goodbye to her pup. No hesitation, no worry about her dress. That tells you everything about her. Moments like this are exactly why we love showing up early on wedding days, because the best photos usually happen when no one's posing.

Tag someone whose pet would absolutely be in their wedding photos, or DM us if you're planning a celebration and want it documented this honestly.
This one gets me every time. 🥹 Manisha and Kevin moved their whole wedding timeline up so her Dad could be there to see her married - because sometimes love means letting go of the plan you had and holding onto what actually matters. We weren't able to be there for that particular celebration, but seeing this photo and hearing that her father got to share in her joy? That's everything. Sending you both so much love, Manisha & Kevin. 💚

If your family's story doesn't fit the 'traditional timeline' either - we get it, and we'd love to help you capture it anyway. Drop a comment or DM us to chat!

Okay, we have to talk about this sherwani 😍 Every single detail on Durgesh's custom tailored jacket — the gold embroidery, the mirror work, the leaf motifs — was chosen with so much intention, and honestly? We're just as obsessed with the customization as he is. Moments like this remind us why we love capturing the little details just as much as the big ones — the hands, the fabric, the story stitched into every thread.

Got a custom look for your big day? We'd love to hear about it — drop a comment or DM us to chat!

The little details before the ceremony even begins are some of my favorite things to photograph. This adorned kalash — coconut, mango leaves, fresh garlands, fruit, all wrapped with such care — is such a beautiful reminder that every element in a South Asian wedding carries meaning. Nothing is just decoration; it's devotion.

I love slowing down to capture these quiet setup moments just as much as the big ones. If you're planning your ceremony and want a photographer who notices (and honors) every detail, let's chat — send me a DM or drop a comment below!

Because sometimes fairytales really do come true, and the road leads your hero straight to you 🌹 Swati was an absolute Belle of the Ball on her wedding day — her way, with the sweetest heartfelt details and her closest people surrounding her. There wasn't a drop of rain that could dampen this parade, just grass getting a much-needed drink and two hearts getting exactly the moment they deserved.

The way he looked at her while in his handsome well earned uniform, the way her lehenga caught every shade of that garden — this is exactly why we love what we do. Blending two worlds, two families, two love languages into one unforgettable frame.

Planning a fusion celebration of your own? We'd love to hear your story — drop a comment or send us a DM 💌
The little details before the big moments — a puja thali dressed in red and gold, coins for blessings, and a single dollar bill tucked in for prosperity. These quiet setups happen before most guests even arrive, and honestly? They're some of our favorite things to photograph. Every fold of cloth and placement of fruit carries meaning passed down through generations. ✨

If you're planning a South Asian or fusion wedding and want a team that notices (and honors) these details, we'd love to chat. Drop a comment or DM us to book your consultation!

There is something incredibly special about spending a quiet weekend morning with a couple before the rush of wedding day begins.

No timelines.
No guests waiting.
No pressure.

Just the two of them walking through the streets of Georgetown, holding hands along the waterfront, laughing, talking, and slowly settling into the comfort of being photographed together.

What our couples may not always realize is how much this time means to us, too.

Engagement sessions are not just about creating beautiful images. They are about connection. Trust. Conversation. Learning how two people love each other, how they found one another, what matters to them, what makes them laugh, and what kind of life they are building together.

And this reel felt even more meaningful because the song used here was created exclusively for them.

Srinu and I produced it together after spending time with them, listening to pieces of their story, and learning more about who they are as a couple. We wanted the music to feel personal, emotional, and true to them — not just something placed over their images, but something created from the experience of being with them.

The song is called:

“Pyaar Dosti Hai”
प्यार दोस्ती है

Love is friendship.

And truly, isn’t that the heart of it?

The kind of love that lasts is not only built on romance. It is built on friendship. On safety. On understanding. On quiet loyalty. On choosing someone who becomes your calm place, your steady hand, your closest companion, and your home.

To our beautiful couple, thank you for allowing us into this small but meaningful piece of your story. The honor and privilege were entirely ours.
