Christian+Erin & Soiree Too!

Phewww! What a weekend this was with the heat and the rain all at the same time. Erin our angelic bride could not have been more happier, calmer, and pleasant than she was when everything that a coordinator could think of happening on a day happened. The priest seated us several times discretely at the church, the venue’s air conditioner was broken upon arrival and the start of their wedding, they lost electricity several times during the reception and yet all of it did not let her spirit down for a single moment! Her day was beautifully done, by the wonderful Mrs. Linda Merritt with Heaven on Earth Wedding Flowers, all that follow our blog know that we LOVE her as she is so very talented at what she does. There is no single word that can describe the freshness of Linda’s flowers and the attention to detail that she puts into her work. Consistently every time without fail Linda out does herself over and over again!

Erin and Christian’s wedding was coordinated by Laura from Soiree Special Events. If in need of coordination services Laura is a good person to know as she has a team of awesome and talented coordinators who will help execute and implement all your dreams making your day a reality! We love working with Soiree as we know the day will be flawless and when things happen that our out of our control they are always there to pull it through! Great job Laura!

Back to our bride and groom… Their spirits totally not crushed they were like “Romeo and Juliet” so in love… Erin was glowing and simply stunning in her custom designed gown…

“The brightness of her cheek would shame those stars
As daylight doth a lamp; her eyes in heaven
Would through the airy region stream so bright
That birds would sing and think it were not night.
See how she leans her cheek upon her hand!”
~Shakespeare~

You two were simply breath taking this weekend!

Here’s the quiet truth no one tells guests before an Indian or Indian-American wedding:

You’re not just watching.
You’re participating.
Not with choreography or rituals — but with presence.

Indian weddings move differently.
They breathe differently.
They carry meaning in moments that don’t announce themselves.

When guests arrive expecting efficiency, cues, or constant explanation, tension builds — and the couple feels it.

What actually matters?
Respect.
Patience.
Openness.
That’s it.

This post isn’t about rules or etiquette.
It’s about showing up with curiosity instead of expectations — and why that one shift changes everything for the couple at the center of it all.

There’s what you see on wedding day.
And then there’s everything that makes us the photographers we are.

This channel is where we share the in-between —
the building, the learning, the late nights,
the marriage that has carried us through nearly two decades of photographing other people’s love stories.

We’re still very much in weddings.
Still shooting.
Still telling stories.
Still showing up for our couples.
But here, you’ll also see how we live, work, problem-solve, and grow together behind the camera —
because who we are off a wedding day shapes how we show up on one.

If you’re planning a wedding,
work in the wedding industry,
or simply love honest conversations about partnership, creativity, and building a life together —
you’ll fit right in.

Christmas in America is culture as much as it is tradition 🤍

It’s family, food, memories, and the people we carry with us — both near and far.

Today’s South Asian Wedded Life episode holds space for engagement, family dynamics, Indo-American life, and the emotions that surface when love and legacy meet.

Sending love to everyone navigating the season in their own way.

YouTube @amyregeti is where the entire heartfelt episode is ... head on over!
