Class of 2008, Prom time already!

Wow!, what we would give to be able to turn back the hands of time, for so many reasons! Seems like the best years tend to pass you buy quicker than the blink of an eye and before you know if POOF! you are all grown up living in what you finally know as the real world. This is when you realize that life truly is too short to let it pass you by, enough to make you want to go out there and just do anything and everything you have possibly ever dreamed of!

Well for Jillian time is on her side as she will be entering into college very shortly and these will most likely be the best years of her life, the ones that she will remember and treasure the most. From the friends she will meet, to the obstacles she will defeat to a teenager these will be the golden years.

Tomorrow for our area is Prom night. It is kind of like Christmas in April here in this small town when Prom comes around. The parents are all out running around with last minute pick-ups of tux’s and gowns. The girls filling up the salons waiting for pedicures and manicures, the return of up-do’s and make-up that will be remembered on print for many a generations to come. Those of us aware of all that is happening in the air will stop and for a moment and remember that we were once there. The excitement and the joy of finally making it through the high school years that we never thought we would ever be able to do.

We wish all of 2008 near and far all the best as they graduate, we wish them much hope in the future, promise in each and every one of their tomorrows, pray for them to have little to no sorrow, because for that of what we are today is owed to the the travels that came yesterday. Think smart, stay focused, and remember all good things come to those who wait, patience is a virtue they say that we are born with, however I must argue that and say that patience is something that we are taught throughout life as we endure.

Cheers and hats off to the Class of 2008! All the best!

    We are on Instagram
There’s what you see on wedding day.
And then there’s everything that makes us the photographers we are.

This channel is where we share the in-between —
the building, the learning, the late nights,
the marriage that has carried us through nearly two decades of photographing other people’s love stories.

We’re still very much in weddings.
Still shooting.
Still telling stories.
Still showing up for our couples.
But here, you’ll also see how we live, work, problem-solve, and grow together behind the camera —
because who we are off a wedding day shapes how we show up on one.

If you’re planning a wedding,
work in the wedding industry,
or simply love honest conversations about partnership, creativity, and building a life together —
you’ll fit right in.

Christmas in America is culture as much as it is tradition 🤍

It’s family, food, memories, and the people we carry with us — both near and far.

Today’s South Asian Wedded Life episode holds space for engagement, family dynamics, Indo-American life, and the emotions that surface when love and legacy meet.

Sending love to everyone navigating the season in their own way.

YouTube @amyregeti is where the entire heartfelt episode is ... head on over!
🎄 Merry Christmas, SAWL family.
Coming off a wedding weekend always leaves me thoughtful 🤍

Somewhere between unloading camera bags, folding laundry, and realizing Christmas is next week, I found myself replaying a quiet thought I know I’m not alone in…

We shouldn’t have to explain neglect to our kids or visiting family in a place meant to teach reverence.

I finally sat down and talked about it — honestly, gently, and without judgment — in a new episode of SAWL - Spilling the Chai with Amy ☕️

If you’ve ever left a place of worship feeling spiritually full but physically unsettled… this conversation might be for you.
