Some weddings stay with you long after the day is over. Hinduja and Aditya’s South Indian Telugu-Tamil wedding was one of those special celebrations. From the breathtaking beauty of the Lotus Temple in Ashburn, Virginia, to the grandeur of their reception at the Hilton Dulles, every moment of their wedding day was a heartfelt reflection of love, culture, and family. Being part of their journey was a true honor, and we’re thrilled to share the highlights of their unforgettable celebration.

The Sacred Ceremony at the Lotus Temple

South Indian weddings are known for their rich traditions, vibrant attire, and deeply spiritual rituals, and Hinduja and Aditya’s wedding was no exception. The Lotus Temple, with its serene ambiance and stunning architecture, provided the perfect setting for their Telugu-Tamil ceremony.

The day began with the Muhurtham, the auspicious time chosen for the couple’s union. Hinduja looked breathtaking in her traditional Kanjeevaram saree, its intricate gold borders shimmering as she made her way to the mandap. Aditya, dressed in a regal veshti and angavastram, stood tall with a sense of calm and joy.

The priest guided them through every step of the sacred rituals, from the Kanyadaanam (the giving away of the bride) to the tying of the Mangalsutra, signifying their eternal bond. The moment they exchanged garlands (Mala) and smiled at each other, the room was filled with love, blessings, and the joyous applause of family and friends.

Capturing Timeless Memories at the Lotus Temple

After the ceremony, we had the opportunity to capture beautiful portraits of Hinduja and Aditya around the serene grounds of the Lotus Temple. The peaceful gardens and elegant architecture provided the perfect backdrop for their love to shine.

One of our favorite moments was photographing them under the temple’s arches. Their traditional attire and radiant smiles created images that were as timeless as their love. These portraits are a true testament to the beauty of their culture and their connection.

A Grand Reception at Hilton Dulles

As the sun set, the celebrations continued at the Hilton Dulles, where the couple hosted a grand reception. The ballroom was transformed into an elegant space with stunning floral arrangements, shimmering lights, and decor that beautifully blended South Indian and modern aesthetics.

Hinduja changed into a stunning lehenga that was equal parts traditional and chic, while Aditya looked dashing in a tailored suit. Their entrance into the reception was greeted with thunderous applause, setting the tone for a night of celebration.

The evening was filled with heartfelt speeches, a delicious South Indian-inspired menu, and unforgettable dance performances. Friends and family hit the dance floor with unbridled energy, celebrating the couple’s love and joy well into the night.

What made Hinduja and Aditya’s wedding truly special was their attention to tradition while embracing their own modern love story. It was a beautiful blend of Telugu and Tamil customs, celebrating not just their union but the coming together of two vibrant South Indian cultures.
