Sangeet with the right beat and vibe was just what this was at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington DC. If there is something I have learned it is that there is no wrong or right way to celebrate South Asian wedding pre-functions, each event big or small becomes a culmination of the input of the bride and her family members as many want to participate in some way directly in the celebration. Tushina and Shrey made it a point to make time to allow for this, embracing their families’ desires to sing, dance, and perform. The images show just that and their loved ones knew it and felt it by the energy felt in the room.
