Top Indian Wedding Photographers – Why Your Photographer Matters?

Let’s be honest—your wedding photos are forever. Choosing the right photographer isn’t just about pretty pictures; it’s about finding someone who gets you, your culture, and your vision. 💍✨

Srinu and I have spent years perfecting the art of Indian wedding photography – and if we are being a little honest, many have approached us at networking gatherings only to brag about using our site, blog, and images as inspiration and copied a few – or shall we say they have tried at least. Whether it’s the intricate henna designs, the vibrant colors of your lehenga, or that teary vidaai moment, we know how to capture it all—beautifully, authentically, and effortlessly. Nothing forced, faked, or forged.

💡 Pro Tip: Always look for photographers experienced with Indian weddings – and I am not just saying a photographer with a few pretty photos of South Asian weddings. Ask for a real gallery of a recent client’s wedding. Get a feel for how they are shooting – the morning details, getting ready, the candids, and your ceremony. You should know it is shot with intent, meaning, and knowledge of what occurs during each ceremonial aspect. Wiping your hands on a paper towel is not a ceremonial aspect 🙂 They must understand the unique flow of your events (yes, even those 6 AM pujas) and ensure nothing important is missed. This is essentially the difference in what you are paying for. South Asian weddings for us is, this beautifully organized chaos full of everything I have grown to love and live to shoot.

Raksha Sutra... for those of you who did not know what the threads are that the priest ties to the couple and the family members. They are sacred threads blessed by the priest for the wearer. It is one of our kid's favorite parts when going to the temple or having family functions. 🧶
I love how Himica before doing anything else looks around to acknowledge who all was present in the crowd. It was a sweet and kind gesture I felt as you could feel how important it was to her we were all there! 🥰
There was a moment I thought he might not make it through that gate! However his uncles came through for him here 🤑
