Saakshe and Mohit | South Asian Wedding | Hilton McLean Tysons Corner

Saakshe and Mohit’s wedding was one of our first South Asian Indian Hindu weddings to take place in a hotel since the pandemic began. We were thankful for Sagina Wahi for helping navigate the logistics as well as policies in place with the new recommendations and regulations put into place simply trying to keep everyone as safe as possible given what little we know about COVID.

We had a fun engagement session with Saakshe and Mohit at Lake Kattamaqundi and were pretty excited about their plans to push forward with the wedding. With the exemption of a formal reception and a lesser number of guests, these were the only absences that were felt during the day… other than that it was the same in every single way – our hearts were full being present for these two to cover their wedding at the Hilton McLean. We are learning that our weddings over the years have become our own soul food that keeps us going. I think we have come to thrive off the love and energy of our clients and their families, in many ways embracing their joy and happiness as our own – as it reminds us both of all the good there is the world even in the most trying of times.
