Happy 1st Birthday Zara! The Cooper/Chahel’s hold a near and dear spot in our hearts as we have have the distinct pleasure and of course honor to document both Shelly and Danny’s (her brother) weddings to their incredible humble and kind life partners – in addition to capturing all of Shelly and Simon’s little ones first birthday celebrations as Shelly always pours her heart and soul into the decor and festivities to celebrate in style.
As parents of five children first birthdays seem to be this significant milestone to remember, as I pour over our own images of our children it makes me appreciate the persistence, dedication, discipline, and structure Shelly has to have taken the time to capture it all. These two are truly busybodies and to see them go from engaged to parents has been an amazing journey for us. Simon has this calm, cool, and collected demeanor that when you are around him the world could be crumbling under your feet and he would make you feel that there was nothing to fear, it is something that over the years you can feel Shelly respond to as she realizes that together they could very well conquer the world. From where I stand they certainly are rocking out this parenting equation, couldn’t be more proud of the parents that they have become, and their including us in it all.
