Shilpa’s Pooja & Haldi | Private Residence | Herndon | Virginia Wedding Photographers

Another link in the chain connects as we have known these families for almost 10 years in documenting and capturing cousins and friends events. Shilpa’s haldi is now complete, kicking off the festive beginnings of her wedding week celebrations. After the initial start of the pooja performed in their home Shilpa was smeared in haldi to begin her cleanse and preparation for her wedding this upcoming Sunday. Family all participating in the process as each one took turns in ensuring all of her was completely covered. Everyone enjoyed lunch as Shilpa showered and moved into phase II of her ceremonial process. Next up, Thursday!

Bhavya & Jayant’s South Asian Indian engagement celebration at Stone Tower Winery in Leesburg, Virginia was filled with easy laughter, meaningful conversations, and the kind of togetherness that reminds you what these moments are really about.
