UPDATE: Eat, Drink, and be Ferried….. Engaged! in Washington

Unfortunately due to inclement weather, this event is being re-scheduled. Will keep you posted.

Engaged! Magazine is excited to announce the most fabulous bridal event for 2010: Engaged! in Washington will be held Friday, February 5, 2010, 5pm – 10pm.

The first event of its kind, Engaged! in Washington will be held at FIVE of the city’s premiere wedding venues: The Four Seasons Hotel, The Hay-Adams, The Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis Hotel, and The Willard Intercontinental Hotel. From 5pm to 10pm, couples can arrive at any of the above properties and experience each venue as it would look for an actual wedding, meet the people that make fabulous weddings happen, linger and look, ooh and aah, and then take a limo bus to the next venue for more eye candy!

Photographers at each venue will take portraits, wedding planners and florists are designing knock-out spaces to wow guests, bands and DJs will play music, models from area bridal salons will be wearing the latest bridal fashion, hair and make-up artists will work their magic on attendees – first come, first served! We want couples to ‘engage’ with the finest wedding professionals and be visually moved by the evening’s events. Sample the food and drink champagne and don’t worry about parking or transportation….Reston Limousine will shuttle guests all evening to each site, rotating in 30 minute increments! Engaged! in Washington promises to be an experience!

Fabulous goodie bags to the first 300 ticket holders!

Sylvia Weinstock, Queen of Wedding Cakes, will be in attendance with one of her gorgeous cakes – a work of art!… and so much more!
Join us on Friday, February 5 – for an incredible evening! See you there!

Travel in style! Reston Limo buses will be stationed outside each venue and will circulate on the half hour (every 30 minutes) to the next venue on the circuit continuously throughout the entire evening!

    We are on Instagram
There’s what you see on wedding day.
And then there’s everything that makes us the photographers we are.

This channel is where we share the in-between —
the building, the learning, the late nights,
the marriage that has carried us through nearly two decades of photographing other people’s love stories.

We’re still very much in weddings.
Still shooting.
Still telling stories.
Still showing up for our couples.
But here, you’ll also see how we live, work, problem-solve, and grow together behind the camera —
because who we are off a wedding day shapes how we show up on one.

If you’re planning a wedding,
work in the wedding industry,
or simply love honest conversations about partnership, creativity, and building a life together —
you’ll fit right in.

Christmas in America is culture as much as it is tradition 🤍

It’s family, food, memories, and the people we carry with us — both near and far.

Today’s South Asian Wedded Life episode holds space for engagement, family dynamics, Indo-American life, and the emotions that surface when love and legacy meet.

Sending love to everyone navigating the season in their own way.

YouTube @amyregeti is where the entire heartfelt episode is ... head on over!
🎄 Merry Christmas, SAWL family.
Coming off a wedding weekend always leaves me thoughtful 🤍

Somewhere between unloading camera bags, folding laundry, and realizing Christmas is next week, I found myself replaying a quiet thought I know I’m not alone in…

We shouldn’t have to explain neglect to our kids or visiting family in a place meant to teach reverence.

I finally sat down and talked about it — honestly, gently, and without judgment — in a new episode of SAWL - Spilling the Chai with Amy ☕️

If you’ve ever left a place of worship feeling spiritually full but physically unsettled… this conversation might be for you.
