Four fabulous names in one fabulous evening, what more could you ask for! It was an honor as we were asked to photograph a dinner put on at the Four Seasons Hotel by The Churchill Centre and Museum at the Cabinet War Rooms, London in honor of Bill Marriott with the menu prepared by Chef Michael Mina (Bourbon Steak) himself, who flew in from NY just for the occasion!
The Four Seasons Hotel certainly did not disappoint as the service all around from the wait staff to the presentation of everything they did was just impeccable!
Those in attendance to name a few Laurence Geller, Jonathan Tisch, The Honorable Gordon Smith, Chris Matthews, The Honorable Evan Bayh, The Honorable Susan Collins, The Honorable Judith McHale, The Honorable Mitt Romney, Celia Sandys and of course Mr. J.W. “Bill” Marriott himself.
The menu (abbreviated of course) consisted of:
Chilled Maine Lobster Salad
Miso-Glazed Chilean Seabass
Mascallan 18 Butterscotch Pot de Creme
It was our pleasure to have been asked to photograph the event. Mr. Marriott is one of the most down to earth individuals that one will ever meet. Modest at best, any of us in the industry who have spent any amount of time at the Marriott hotels know that his employees are representative of who he is as a person.
